Fall Team Registration is Open!

 

2017 Fall Team Sports Registration

Only register for Varsity sports if you are 100% sure your school will field a team. 

If unsure, do not register until you are confident a Varsity team is available. 

Deadline to register Varsity teams is 9/1/17.  B/C Registration Closes 9/8/17. 

Schools with an outstanding balance will have their teams confirmed upon receipt of payment.

 

 

Schools have two payment options:

Annual - Pay Flat Fee for all Conference Team sports for the school year, except Soccer.

Tier I (Fncl Level 1-2) - $1,750

Tier II (Fncl Level 3) - $1,200

Tier III (Fncl Level 4-5) - $750

Seasonal - Pay for each Fall Team sport individually.

Varsity

Tier I (Fncl Level 1-2) - $185

Tier II (Fncl Level 3) - $170

Tier III (Fncl Level 4-5) - $155

B / C - $60

Admin Fee

$50 (One time fee for administrative processing)

Facility Fee (Centralized Leagues)

$75-100 (Depending on Fees CYO is charged by the Facility)

Fees must be paid in full by October 13, 2017.  ($75 Late Fee will apply after 10/13/17)

CYO Fall Dates

 

Registration for CYO Fall Sports (Girls Volleyball & Flag Football) will open on Monday, August 14th. 

Athletic Director Meetings will be held the week of August 21st.  This year will be offering AD's meetings in each of the four regions. 

Varsity Coaches meetings will be held the week of  September 11.  B/C Coaches meetings will be the week of September 18th.  Dates, times and locations for all meetings will be posted when confirmed.

GVB Jamboree is scheduled for Saturday, September 16th and Flag Football Jamboree set for Saturday, September 23rd.  Dates may vary due to field availability. 

GVB season starts w/o 9/18 and FF season begins 9/17 or 9/24, depending on which league your school is in.

2017/18 Fee Schedule

 

This confirms scheduled CYO Fee increases to take affect for the 2017/18 school year.   The CYO Advisory Board has approved these increases.

  1. CYO is entirely self funded and receives no financial support from the Archdiocese. CYO relies solely on sports fees and donations to support its services. Our costs are increasing each year, in large part due to rising facility fees. We have made concerted efforts to reduce program expenses and have added five fund raisers over the past couple years tp defray costs.
  2. The Department of Catholic Schools has introduced a revised Financial Ranking system that CYO is adopting this coming year.  The 5 scale system reflects the changing socio-economic landscape and fewer schools are ranked in the top tiers.  This has an adverse effect on our revenue potential based on historical trends.

Phase II plan has has increased fees for upper income or Tier I schools (Financial Level 1-2).  Fee increases for Tier II (Level 3) and II (Level 4-5) are minimal.

In addition, CYO will also adjust the following Fees beginning in the Fall:

Admin Fee: $50 (1X CYO Processing)  and  PLC Coaches Card: $30

CYO continues to pursue ways to reduce costs in our goal to have a balanced budget.  CYO is completely self-funded and the fees we charge remain reasonably low compared to other sports offerings.
